Fire Investigation
The Peterborough Police Service is investigating after a suspicious fire at an abandoned house in Peterborough.
At approximately 8:20pm on March 5, 2024, officers were called to the area Water Street and London Street about a suspicious fire.
The Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) was used to assist Peterborough Fire to identify hotspots.
The area was closed to traffic for about 3.5 hours and is now reopened.
The Ontario Fire Marshal is expected at the scene today.

Break and Enter Suspect Sought – Update
The Peterborough Police Service continues to investigate a break and enter in the Village Crescent and Lansdowne Street area that happened in the early hours of Wednesday, February 21, 2024.
Security camera footage shows two people leaving the area at the time.
