Bail Violations Arrest
A 40-year-old Peterborough man wanted on a warrant was arrested Wednesday evening.
At approximately 9:10pm on March 6, 2024, officers were called to the Cameron Street and Archibald Avenue area about an unwanted male inside a residence. Upon arrival, officers could see a man inside move toward the back of the house. PSD Gryphon was deployed to search the home and a man matching the description given to police was located in the basement. PSD Gryphon conducted a bark and hold and the male was taken into custody without incident.
As a result of the investigation, a 40-year-old Peterborough man was arrested on the strength of the warrant and further charged with:
- Failing to comply with an undertaking
The accused is currently bound by an undertaking with the following condition to not be at the residence where he was located.
The accused is being held in custody and will appear in court today, March 7, 2024.
Stolen Vehicle Suspect Sought
The Peterborough Police Service continues to investigate the theft of a tractor Sunday evening.
