The Forensic Identification Unit
- The Forensic Identification Unit includes three fully trained forensics detectives and one computer forensics detective.
- Forensic Identification Officers attend at crime scenes in order to collect evidence to support the investigation.
- Each member of the Unit has an area of special study and interest: forensic art, firearms, and blood spatter.
- Computer forensics is an emerging field where information and evidence is extracted from devices such as cell phones, computers and tablets.
