Impaired Arrest
A 27-year-old Havelock woman is facing charges after an incident early Tuesday morning.
At approximately 3:00am on May 28, 2024, officers were called to a disturbance in the Dickson Street and Murray Street area. Upon arrival, officers located a vehicle and in speaking with the driver noticed signs of impairment.
As a result of the investigation, a 27-year-old Havelock woman was arrested and charged with:
- Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused was issued an automatic 90-day license suspension and seven-day vehicle impoundment.
The accused was released on an appearance notice and is scheduled to appear in court June 18, 2024.
Assault Arrest
A 46-year-old Peterborough man is facing charges after Peterborough Police were made aware of two domestic incidents.
On May 27, 2024, officers were made aware of an incident between a man and a woman in which the woman was scratched on her face and a second incident in which the woman was grabbed and shoved into furniture.
As a result of the investigation, a 46-year-old Peterborough man was arrested and charged with:
- Assault – Spousal X2
The accused is being held in custody and will appear in court today, May 28 2024.
