Impaired Arrest

A 43-year-old Peterborough man, is facing charges after an incident Monday evening.

At approximately 7:56pm on Monday, February 26, 2024, officers were dispatched to a Lansdowne Street West parking lot regarding an impaired driver. On arrival, officers formed grounds that the driver was under the influence of alcohol.  The driver failed to comply with the officer’s breath demand and was arrested.

As a result, a 43-year-old Peterborough man was arrested and charged with:

• Failure or refusal to comply with demand

The accused is being held in custody and is scheduled to appear in court today, February 27, 2024.
