Pedestrian Struck

The Peterborough Police Service is investigating after a pedestrian was struck in Peterborough Wednesday night. 

At approximately 7:00pm on June 7, 2023, officers were called to the intersection of Water Street and University Heights.  The pedestrian was taken to Peterborough Regional Health Centre for treatment of minor injuries. 

The driver of the vehicle was charged under the Highway Traffic Act for failing to yield to a pedestrian.

Crime Stoppers provides citizens with a vehicle to anonymously supply the police with information about a crime or potential crime of which they have knowledge. Cash rewards are offered to people who call the program and their information leads to an arrest.
