Motor Vehicle Collision Update – Armour Road December 22, 2022
A 19-year-old Peterborough man is facing several charges in connection with a collision in Peterborough last December.
Several people including two children were seriously injured in the two-vehicle collision which happened Thursday, December 22, 2022, just after 6:00pm on Armour Road at Dufferin Street.
On Wednesday, February 8, 2023, as a result of the investigation and reconstruction information, officers arrested and charged a 19-year-old Peterborough man with:
- Dangerous Operation Causing Bodily Harm X3
- Drive Motor Vehicle - Perform stunt (40km/h or more over the posted speed limit) (Highway Traffic Act)
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court March 2, 2023.
Speed, weather, and traffic conditions at the time of the collision were all considered in connection with the investigation.
Peterborough Police encourage all motorists to operate their vehicles within the posted speed limits and to exercise due care and attention when on our roadways.
