Peterborough Police Service is investigating after a collision resulted in a vehicle hitting a building.
At approximately 8:15am on February 7, 2023, officers were called to the intersection of McDonnel Street and Aylmer Street after the collision involving two vehicles. Upon arrival, officers learned that one of the vehicles had struck a nearby convenience store.
A 52-year-old driver was charged with failing to stop for a red light.
No serious injuries were reported; however, one person was taken to Peterborough Regional Health Centre as a precaution.
