Collision - Lakefield
The Peterborough Police Service was called to a collision in Lakefield Friday morning.
The collision happened just after 10:30am on Queen Street between Albert Street and Reid Street between a pedestrian and a vehicle. A 95-year-old man was taken to Peterborough Regional Health Centre for treatment.
No charges are expected.
The road was closed for about three hours while the Traffic Reconstruction Unit investigated.
Assault Suspects Sought
The Peterborough Police Service is investigating after an incident last Wednesday morning.
At approximately 7:40am on August 28, 2024, officers were called to the area of Aylmer Street and Townsend Street about a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers learned that the male victim and a group of people had become involved in a confrontation and during the confrontation the victim was struck with an object. He was taken to Peterborough Regional Health Centre for treatment.
