is MORE than $5,000 (Canadian currency) (Frauds/Scams over $5,000 can be reported online)
- Theft or loss involves a firearm, passport or prescription drugs
- A motor vehicle collision
- Related to a break & enter
at your home or business
- Related to any form of personal violence including Domestic Violence and/or personal relationship
- Theft or attempted theft
of a vehicle

- The value of the theft, loss or damage is LESS than $5,000 (Canadian currency) (This does not apply to fraud/scam reports)
- If you are reporting a monetary loss (any amount) from a fraud or/a scam please use the Fraud - Scam Report
- The theft or loss does NOT involve a firearm, passport or prescription drugs
- This is NOT a motor vehicle collision
- This is NOT related to any form of personal violence including Domestic Violence and/or personal relationship
- This is NOT a theft or attempted theft of a vehicle

More Reporting Tips |
- Reports must be filed by the complainant, owner or authorized representative
- Peterborough Police Service can only accept reports for incidents in the City of Peterborough, Village of Lakefield or Township of Cavan-Monaghan
- You must have a valid email address and/or phone number to file an online report
- All incidents filed using the Online Reporting System will be reviewed by a Police Officer
- An Officer will not attend your residence or business after you file an online report
- You may be contacted if more information is required
