Assault with a Weapon Suspect Outstanding
At approximately 10:00pm on Sunday, August 27, 2023, officers were called to a possible stabbing in the area of McDonnel Street and Aylmer Street. Officers located a male victim; however, he had not been stabbed. Through investigation officers learned that the victim had been assaulted with an object earlier in the evening in the area of Brock Street and Aylmer Street. The victim was transported to Peterborough Regional Health Centre for treatment of his injuries.
The suspect was described to police as:
- white male
- 30 years of age
- 5’ 10 tall
- black Champion’s sweater

Assault with a Weapon Suspect Sought
At approximately 9:27pm on Friday, August 25, 2023, officers were called to an assault in the area of George Street and Dalhousie Street. Officers learned that a domestic argument had taken place between a male and female. A third male intervened using bear spray in the immediate area. The male involved in the domestic argument suffered contamination to his face and refused medical attention.
The suspect was described to police as:
- white male
- blonde buzzed hair
- wearing a red t-shirt
Officers, including K9 searched the area, however, the suspect was not located.
