Assault Cause Bodily Harm Arrest
A 44-year-old Peterborough man is facing charges after an incident Tuesday afternoon.
At approximately 3:30pm on September 12, 2023, officers were called about a domestic incident that had happened in a residence and a female had been taken to Peterborough Regional Health Centre for treatment. Through investigation, officers learned that a verbal argument had turned physical, and the victim was struck in the face.
As a result, a 44-year-old Peterborough man was arrested and charged with:
- Assault Causing Bodily Harm – Spousal
The accused is being held in custody and will appear in court today, September 13, 2023.
