Theft/Mischief Arrest
Two Peterborough people are facing charges after an incident early Tuesday morning.
At approximately 2:30am on May 21, 2024, officers were called to the area of Robinson Street and Rogers Street about two people going through vehicles. Upon arrival, officers located two people matching the description given to police. They were taken into custody without incident. Officers further searched the area and located several vehicles that had been damaged, and items believed to be used to attempt to enter vehicles.
As a result of the investigation:
A 34-year-old Peterborough man was arrested and charged with:
- Theft Under $5000
- Mischief Under $ 5,000
- Trespassing at Night
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court June 18, 2024.
A 31-year-old Peterborough woman was arrested and charged with:
- Theft Under $5000
- Mischief Under $ 5,000
- Trespassing at Night
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court June 18, 2024.
