Use of Credit Card Arrest
A 41-year-old Peterborough man is facing charges after an online report was filed about fraudulent credit card transactions.
The online report was filed March 27, 2022, in which it was reported that a wallet had been stolen and credit cards used at several convenience stores. Over the next few weeks, officers were able to gather information about the instances and identify a suspect.
On Tuesday, April 26, 2022, an officer on general patrol saw the suspect wanted in connection with the case walking in the area Aylmer Street and McDonnell Street.
As a result of the investigation, a 41-year-old Peterborough man was arrested and charged with:
- Use of Credit Card
The accused was released appearance notice and is scheduled to appear in court May 17, 2022.
