Robbery – Update
Two Peterborough teenagers are facing charges after an incident last Thursday afternoon.
At approximately 4:10pm on November 14, 2024, officers were called to a business in the plaza at Chemong Road and Milroy Drive about a robbery.

Through investigation, the male and female suspects were identified and on Monday, November 18, 2024, they were located and taken into custody.
A 16-year-old Peterborough male was charged with:
- Robbery with violence
A 14-year-old Peterborough female was charged with:
- Theft under $5000
Both accused were released on an undertaking and are scheduled to appear in court December 31, 2024.
Warrant Arrest
A 37-year-old Peterborough man wanted on seven warrants is in custody after he was spotted by an officer on general patrol Monday afternoon.
At approximately 3:20pm on November 18, 2024, officers with the Community FIRST Unit spotted the man who was wanted on seven charges of theft under $5000 and nine charges related to failing to comply with probation in the area of Lansdowne Street and The Parkway.
As a result, a 37-year-old Peterborough man was arrested on the strength of the warrants and is being held in custody. The accused will appear in court today, November 19, 2024.
