Stunt Driving

A 37-year-old Quebec driver is facing a stunt driving charge under the Highway Traffic Act.

At approximately 3:00pm on Monday, March 6, 2023, an officer on general patrol recorded a vehicle travelling 101 km/h in a 50 km/h zone in the area of Lansdowne Street and Village Crescent and conducted a traffic stop. 

The driver was charged with stunt driving under the Highway Traffic Act and was given a 30-day license suspension and 14-day vehicle impoundment.
