B&E Business – Rye Street
Peterborough Police are investigating after a break and enter was reported at a Peterborough business.
It was reported to police on Monday, April 25, 2022, that the business on Rye Street near Webber Avenue was broken into around 9:30am on Sunday, April 24, 2022. It’s believed about $20,000 in wire was taken from a locked storage container.
It’s believed the suspects were driving:
- An older model white GMC Savana Van
- No license plates
- Damage to rear bumper on the passenger side
One of the suspects is described as:
- White male
- Bald
- Dressed in all black

B&E Business – Lansdowne Street
Peterborough Police are investigating after a break and enter at a Peterborough business.
The owner reported that the business in the Lansdowne Street and Goodfellow Road area was broken into, the building rummaged through, and some items taken. It’s believed the incident happened sometime between April 13, 2022, and April 25, 2022.

Theft from Business – Lansdowne Street
Peterborough Police may have interrupted a theft from a business parking lot early Sunday morning.
An officer on general patrol in the area of Lansdowne Street and Sherburne Street around 5:00am on April 24, 2022, came across a basket containing electrical cords and wires that may have come from a business in the area.

Impaired Arrest
A 47-year-old Fraserville man is facing impaired charges after an incident Sunday evening.
At approximately 9:30pm on April 24, 2022, Peterborough Police received a call about a possible impaired driver. Officers were able to locate the vehicle as it pulled into the driveway of a residence in Fraserville and noticed signs of impairment with the driver.
As a result of the investigation, a 47-year-old Fraserville man was arrested and charged with:
- Operation while impaired - alcohol
- Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused was issued an automatic 90-day license suspension and a seven-day vehicle impoundment.
The accused was released on an appearance notice and is scheduled to appear in court on May 25, 2022.
