Warrant Arrest
A 28-year-old Peterborough woman was arrested on a warrant early Thursday morning.
At approximately 2:00am on April 20, 2023, officers on general patrol in the Park Street and Romaine Street area conducted a vehicle stop and learned the driver was wanted on a warrant in connection with an incident in February 2023.
As a result of the investigation, a 28-year-old Peterborough woman was arrested on the strength of the warrant and charged with:
- Assault with a weapon
- Occupant of motor vehicle knowing there was a firearm
The accused is being held in custody and will appear in court today, April 20, 2023.
