Break and Enter Arrest
A 40-year-old Peterborough man wanted on two warrants has been charged in connection with two break and enters in Peterborough. The incidents happened in the old west end of the city in July and October.
At approximately 4:00pm on November 1, 2024, officers with court services spotted the man wanted on warrants at the courthouse and took him into custody.
As a result of the investigation, the 40-year-old Peterborough man was arrested on the strength of the warrants and charged with:
- Break, Enter and Commit
- Theft of Motor Vehicle
- Break, Enter and Steal a Firearm
The accused is being held in custody and will appear in Weekend and Statutory Holiday (WASH) court today, November 2, 2024.
The Peterborough Police Service continues to investigate a series of break and enters in this area of the city (Monaghan Road and Parkhill Road and to the south) that have happened over the past several months.
