Stabbing
On the 22nd of July 2023, at approximately 7:56pm, Police received information of a stabbing in the area of Murray Street and Stewart Street. Police located the male victim, and he was transported to Peterborough Regional Health Centre for treatment. The victim required surgery and is now in stable condition. The investigation is ongoing.

Assault with a Weapon
On the 23rd of July 2023, at approximately 12:28am, Police responded to a residence on Talwood Drive regarding an assault. On arrival, Police located a male victim that had been pepper sprayed and assaulted with an object. Police are continuing to investigate.

Assault Arrest
On the 24th of July, 2023, at approximately 12:24am, Police responded to a residence on Fairbairn Street to assist Peterborough Paramedics with an assaultive youth. As a result of the investigation, a Peterborough youth has been charged with:
- Assault
- Uttering Threats - Cause Death or Bodily Harm
- Failure to Comply with Release Order
The accused is being held in custody and will appear in court for a bail hearing today, July 24th.
