Utter Threats Arrest
A 56 year-old Peterborough Man was arrested Thursday afternoon and is now facing criminal charges after an incident at a Charlotte Street residence.
At approximately 12:38pm on Thursday June 29th, 2023 officers responded to a Charlotte Street address in response to a “Neighbour Dispute” call for service.
Responding officers investigated and determined that during the dispute, the suspect had breached previously imposed release conditions and had threatened to harm his neighbor.
As a result of the investigation, a 56 year-old Peterborough man was arrested and charged with:
- Utter Threats
- Breach of Undertaking
The accused was held in custody and is scheduled to appear in court today, June 30th 2023.
Motor Vehicle Collision
A 42 year-old Peterborough man has suffered serious injuries as a result of a motor vehicle collision Thursday evening.
At approximately 9:10pm on Thursday June 29th, 2023 officers responded to a motor vehicle collision in the area of Sherbrooke Street and Montague Court.
Upon arrival, responding officers located a motorcyclist who had suffered serios injuries resulting from a collision with a pickup truck and trailer.
The victim was initially transported by Paramedics to the Peterborough Regional Health Centre for care before being transported to a Toronto area hospital due to the extent of his injuries.
Investigators from the Peterborough Police Service Traffic Management Unit responded to support initial responding officers with their investigation.
Sherbrooke Street has since re-opened to traffic, and the investigation into the collision remains ongoing.
