Fraud Arrest
A 25-year-old Quebec woman is facing fraud charges after an incident at a local banking institution.
At approximately 11:30am on July 20, 2023, officers were called to the bank about a woman attempting to open a bank account with fraudulent documents. Upon arrival, officers determined the documents presented were fraudulent and took the woman into custody without incident.
As a result of the investigation, a 25-year-old Quebec woman was arrested and charged with:
- Use, deals, acts on forged document X3
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court August 8, 2023.
