Towerhill Road Incident

The Peterborough Police Service continues to investigate after an incident early this morning in the north end of Peterborough. 

Just before 1:00am on October 5, 2023, officers were called to a residence on Towerhill Road about a disturbance.  Upon arrival, officers located one person suffering from an injury.  The victim was taken to Peterborough Regional Health Centre for treatment. 

Others in the residence refused to come out for police.  After several hours, the Emergency Response Team took one person into custody.  The person was later released unconditionally.

As part of the investigation, officers with the Investigative Services Unit also executed a search warrant on the residence.  

The investigation is ongoing and any further details will be released when available.
