Sudden Death – Update #2
The Peterborough Police Service continues to assist the Coroner in the investigation of a recent sudden death.
At approximately, 1:10pm on Saturday, July 20, 2024, officers were made aware of a body in the creek in the area of Charlotte Street and the King Street garage.
At this time, the circumstances around the death are not considered suspicious. Police are not searching for any suspects and there is no threat to public safety as a result of the incident.

A 45-year-old Peterborough woman is facing charges after an incident at Millennium Park in Peterborough Wednesday afternoon.

Police Investigation
A person has been arrested and another sent to Peterborough Regional Health Centre for treatment after an incident Wednesday afternoon near Millennium Park.
At approximately 3:00pm on July 24, 2024, officers were called to the area. The investigation continues. The extent of the victim’s injuries is unknown.

Impaired Operation/Warrant Arrest
Two people are facing charges after an incident early Monday morning.
At approximately 6:00am on July 22, 2024, officers were called to the area of Middlefield Road and Crystal Drive about a woman passed out in a vehicle and the vehicle windows smashed. Upon arrival, officers located three people and a dog in the vehicle. Upon speaking with the driver, officers noticed signs of impairment.
