Impaired Arrest
A 23-year-old Peterborough man is facing impaired charges after an incident Monday morning.
At approximately 8:45am on September 9, 2024, officers were called to the area of Payne Street and Wilson Street about a vehicle stuck on top of a large rock. On Saturday, September 7, 2024, Investigators working out of the Ontario Provincial Police General Headquarters Criminal Investigation Branch arrested a seven-year member of the Peterborough Police Service.
The Officers is facing criminal charges of:

Collision - Lakefield
The Peterborough Police Service was called to a collision in Lakefield Friday morning.
The collision happened just after 10:30am on Queen Street between Albert Street and Reid Street between a pedestrian and a vehicle. A 95-year-old man was taken to Peterborough Regional Health Centre for treatment.
No charges are expected.
The road was closed for about three hours while the Traffic Reconstruction Unit investigated.
