Assault Arrest
A 14-year-old Peterborough female is facing an assault charge after an incident Wednesday afternoon.
At approximately 2:15pm on September 11, 2024, officers were called about an incident that happened near the trail behind Paddock Wood. On Monday, September 9, 2024, a Peterborough Police Service officer was arrested in an adjacent jurisdiction in connection with an intimate partner violence-related incident.
As a result of the investigation, the officer was charged with:
- Mischief under $5000
The accused was released on an undertaking and will appear in court in that jurisdiction.
