Utter Threats Arrest
A 24-year-old Peterborough woman is facing charges after an incident in Peterborough Wednesday afternoon.
At approximately 1:45pm on May 24, 2023, officers were called to the Simcoe Street and George Street area. Upon arrival, officers learned that a woman asked to leave the bus terminal area had verbally threatened a security guard. Officers were able to locate the woman and took her into custody.
As a result of the investigation, a 24-year-old Peterborough woman was arrested and charged with:
- Uttering Threats - Cause death or Bodily Harm
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order
The accused is currently bound by a probation order with the following condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court June 13, 2023.
