A 37-year-old Madoc man is facing an impaired charge after an incident Thursday evening.
At approximately 10:50pm on January 18, 2024, a concerned motorist called about a vehicle into a hydro pole on Dobbin Road. Upon arrival, the driver was not at the scene. Suspicious Vehicle
The Peterborough Police Service has been made aware of an incident involving a suspicious vehicle.
At approximately 4:30pm on January 17, 2024, officers were called to the area of Crawford Drive and Johnston Drive. Upon arrival, they learned that two children, aged 7 and 5, had been approached in a parking lot by a vehicle, the male driver gave them crackers before driving away. No one was injured.

Drug Arrests - Project Docker
Six people are facing charges after a drug investigation by the Peterborough Police Service Drug Unit.
Project Docker spanned several months and included the execution of eight search warrants in the City of Peterborough, the County of Peterborough and the GTA.
Through the search warrants, officers seized:
- 4.5 kilograms of Cocaine (9.9lbs)
- 42 grams of Fentanyl
- 1 vehicle
- Over $5000 in Canadian currency

Possession of Stolen Property Arrest
A 25-year-old Peterborough man is facing charges after an incident early Tuesday morning.
At approximately 1:00am on January 16, 2024, an officer on general patrol in the Wolf Street and Park Street area noticed a suspicious vehicle.
